Well,

Thanksgiving wasn't too awful. It was actually decent for once, no family incidents and everyone was on their best behavior.

Surprisingly the guy I've been dating casually for almost a year now showed up at THanksgiving...needless to say I was nauseous.

See I have this theory that if I don't expect it to happen and set myself up for the worst when it doesn't happen and things go well...I'm pleasantly surprised...

See the one positive of being a pessimist!

But he was reintroduced to my family and my niece and nephew...strange enough my brother-in-law asked him to come down and watch football with him *shakes head* SAY WHAT!?!?!

And then my niece who usually mugs everyone...shes only two and won't even crack a smile to family members...Smiled at HIM!?!?!

I admit...I was a bit jealous of my nieces response...Hell she didnt crack a smile at me for two hours and I took her to the Zoo! but my mom thinks its because he had his hair out she saw someone whos hair is similiar to hers and too a kindred to him.....

Nice try mom....

But they were NEVER this nice to my Ex...Damn it was like the Prodigical son had returned! I mean we did date in highschool but that was almost 6-7 years ago...hell could be longer and Im just diluding myself.

I did recieve a early xmas/thank you gift from a nursing student I was helping for her internship....

She got me "Harry Potter and the OTP PS2" game!!! I've been wanting that game since the movie came out! and now a majority of my time is spent trying to retrieve the rest of the D.A. members and mastering "Wingardium Leviosa"

Which is pretty damn hard to master on that game.

On a side note I did see Beowulf last night...

My thoughts...it was good but Every time he yelled "I AM BEOWULF!!!" I felt like yelling "SPARTANS!!!"

It reminded me a little too much of 300, but it was pretty close to the poem of some I do remember...but Grendals mom was a "hag" Angelina Jolie and her gold naked body was no hag...I almost choked when she step up in stilletos...

Damn didn't know they were torturing women back in the Dark Ages with those damn shoes back then...LOL

But it was good, my companion was a little dissapointed but we're all geared up to see "I AM LEGEND" Honestly anytime to see will smith bare-shirt and sexy is a movie for me...LOL, Just see "I, Robot" and the booty shot. LOL

AIght I got a paper to write and some chapters to proof read...

Oh I did get my xmas tree...LOL, I'll have to post a picture of it soon.
